The exterior shots of the house are similar to the same house Mitchell and Cam lived in on Modern Family
Scenario
It tells the story of three very different families who are competing to buy the same 1920s Spanish-style villa that they think will solve all their problems. A very slow burn, but my review isn’t based solely on that, but overall it’s not a great or bad series.
The series was cliché & there were no misunderstood parts due to plot twists that left you feeling dissatisfied
It also didn’t seem like you cared about any of the characters, despite some of the things they were dealing with. At times it felt like it was a comedy (or dry comedy) about door-to-door sales, then it turned into something else.
The twists and turns throughout, the last few episodes were really good
The cast was okay, but maybe it was the script or director who didn’t bring a stronger story to the screen in the spots. It’s not a series I’d watch again, but it’s enough to make me want to watch it once..
